  2. Sky 7000 feet overcast, visibility 1-1/2SM, heavy rain.
  3. Sky 700 feet overcast, visibility 1-1/2SM, rain.

    Sky 700 feet overcast, visibility 1-1/2SM, rain.

     

    As highlighted in the figure below, the current conditions are 1 1/2 SM visibility, rain (RA), and overcast skies at 700 feet (OVC007). For more information, watch the “How to Read METARs” videos.
