Radar weather reports are of special interest to pilots because they indicate
location of precipitation along with type, intensity, and cell movement of precipitation. Radar reports are excellent for identifying areas with precipitation and determining its type. They also show cell movement, which can be used to predict the future location of precipitation cells.
